  1. April, 2005
I was informed by Barbara and Harry Theodoris of Morrisville, who took the tour recently, of the following:
    1. The Ulherstown bridge is difficult to access due to flooding by the Delaware in mid-April, 2005.
    2. The Parkway Restaurant on the way to the Sheard's Mill Bridge is now a pizza place called La Campagna
    3. Someone burned the Mood's Covered Bridge on June 21, 2004. There is now a community park there with a mundane, boring bridge in place of the classic. You can see the rock lead-in and lead-out structures which held the old bridge as well as what appear to be some of the original road-bed timbers, including a few tht are obviously charred but still structurally sound.

  2. October, 2006
On October 1, 2006, I took the tour again (from the reverse direction) and have made a few alterations in this set of directions to clear up some possible confusion points. One of the biggest things is that travel along State highway 32 (River Road) is occasionally one-way either North or South due to the road collapsing into the Delaware canal at points.

From the construction, it's obvious this is an ongoing cleanup that will move as time goes along. There are clearly marked detours when this occurs, but it will obviously mess up the indicated mileages where Highway 32 is concerned. This narrative does not take these Highway 32 detours into account because the entry/exit points from Highway 32 are still there and not part of the detour.

  3. July 27, 2008
    Tim Young informed me that
    1. The Moods Covered Bridge was rebuilt in 2008, but that it is now one way only from Branch Rd. to 5th St.
    2. The Pony Truss Bridge in Ralph Stover State Park is still there, but it is open to foot traffic only. Although this is not a covered bridge, it is still very picturesque and I've added it to the tour since it's close to the Cabin Run and Loux bridges.

  4. June 25, 2021
No news on the bridges, but it's been almost 13 years since I've looked at the site. I found that sometime ago, probably 2013, it had been hacked to replace all the bridge pictures with an advertisement/link to buy Ohiobarns.com. It's fixed now but sorry for the 13 years of being unusable.
